We strive to reduce stigma around bodies with the focus on body parts such as for example genitals, thighs, noses etc. We strive to liberate the mind from shame and increase joy and desire in all who choose it, regardless of sexual orientation, identity and gender.
We know that body parts such as genitals can be a source of great joy as it is connected to the possibility of immense pleasure and exploration. We also know that body parts can be of great pain and discomfort to some. For example due to shame around how they look, how they perform or not, due to gender incongruence or dysphoria, feelings of disgust and experiences of sexual abuse.
We want to contribute to lessening the pain and discomfort and celebrate different body parts in what ever form or shape they come, with what ever ability or function they might have. We want you to embrace all of yourself. Or if you want to help a friend or partner embrace all of themselves. These lithophanes might be for you.
What are lithophanes?
They are translucent images that reveal a detailed picture when backlit. They are typically made of porcelain or plastic and are characterized by varying thicknesses that create the illusion of depth when light shines through them. When viewed in front of a light source, the different thicknesses of the material create different shades, revealing a detailed image. You can create an art piece of your or a friend/partner’s body part. to help reduce shame.
